Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive settlement to amass Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, producer and servicer of customized high purity water treatment gear.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering provides water remedy products and services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, data centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical device and microelectronics markets. The firm has more than 1,200 prospects in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will enhance its portfolio of excessive purity water treatment systems and broaden its service footprint in North America.
